Melinda Moch, J.D.

Melinda Moch (she/her) is General Counsel at Marrow Law LLP. In addition to advising the firm, Melinda maintains a broad practice focused on business law, employment, policy and governance, and commercial real estate.

Melinda works with businesses, Indigenous governments and organizations, non-profits, and individuals, providing practical legal advice that considers not only the law, but the larger context in which her clients are making decisions. Her work includes advising on corporate and commercial transactions, contracts and business relationships, workplace matters, governance and organizational policy, and commercial leasing and real estate matters.

Melinda is Red River Métis, with her script bearing families being Hallett, Thomas, Pruden, Stodgell, Larocque, Delorme, Hogue and Hamelin lines, and Melinda believes strongly in the importance of relationships in legal practice. Her approach is collaborative and solutions-focused, aiming to give clients advice they can actually use to make decisions and move their work forward.

In addition to her love of law, Melinda is also actively involved in the legal and broader community, including through her work as Secretary of the Indigenous Bar Association in Canada, on the Board of Trustees of Seven Oaks General Hospital,  and on the Board of Directors of Clan Mothers Healing Village
