Our Story
Founded as Perrie Law, our firm began as a sole practice with a clear mission to address cross-jurisdictional legal issues to serve Nunavummiut in Manitoba and Nunavut. Our commitment to accessible justice and professional excellence was recognized early on, culminating in the MMF Business Excellence Award in 2025.
As we grew, our identity evolved. In 2026, we rebranded to Marrow Law to better reflect our growth into a diverse, mixed, and inclusive team that extends far beyond a single name. Today, we are a proud Indigenous 2-Spirit owned practice serving Indigenous and non-Indigenous people across Canada and beyond, with established practices in Nunavut, the Northwest Territories, Yukon, Manitoba, Alberta, and British Columbia.
Despite our expansion across the North and West, our heart remains the same. We chose the name Marrow because we provide the essential, inner strength—the structural integrity—that allows our clients to stand firm. We remain a steady, principled firm committed to our craft, providing principled legal support that reinforces strength within systems not designed for those we serve.

About
Serving communities across Nunavut, Manitoba, British Columbia, Alberta, Yukon and Northwest Territories, we take the time to understand your unique circumstances and work with the courts to accommodate cultural practices, including requests for Eagle feathers and smudging ceremonies. We work closely with unilingual Inuktitut speakers and the courts to ensure interpretation services and culturally responsive representation.

Like the marrow within the bone, we provide the inner strength and structural integrity required for our clients to stand firm.
